I fell in love today… with a tea set. Anthropologie always does this to me, but this time, it’s serious!

This is what I need to do: find the lucky, wonderful, deserving woman in my life that will appreciate this tea set, then buy it for her as a gift, and throw a party for it. I mean her. (really!)
For a small guest list it will work out perfectly. She gets a teapot and 8-12 sets of gorgeousness, and I get the rest. Er… I mean… any sets needed beyond that would make great game favors or a gift for the hard-working hostess.

I’ll save money elsewhere by collecting mis-matched silverware from thrift stores and using old tea tins as floral containers.

The tea sandwiches will be easy & inexpensive to make, so luxurious napkins that complement – but not match – the tea set will be the only other splurge; luckily they’re versatile enough to be used in countless other ways.
