Today we’re featuring our most recent project – a modern rooftop garden party celebrating gorgeous little Chloe’s first birthday party. Make Merry! handled the event styling, planning and catering; the beautiful photos are from Marisa Matluck.

The colored glass planters are votive holders – we wrapped them with wire for hanging and filled them with succulents and tiny flowering plants.

The buffet tables were covered with green moss and decorated with flower-filled watering cans and brightly colored dragonflies.

Green leaf tissue-paper garlands served as a backdrop for the dessert area, where guests snacked on robin egg and mushroom-shaped cupcake bites. We also provided fresh berries in green, orange and yellow tulip baking cups.

The fabulous caterpillar and ladybug cakes were made by Kindred Cakes in South Florida.
