I’m loving Smock’s coordinated suites of stationery, gift wrap and paper goods. The fact that they use a combo of sustainable bamboo and 100% post consumer recycled papers makes the designs that much more lovely.

The summer issue of Get Married is out, and the menu/place cards we designed for Bethany and Geoffrey’s New Year’s Eve wedding in Times Square are featured!

I wanted to send something sweet and handmade this year for Mother’s Day (without going too over-the-top). The result: this simple card, which I printed on a thick ivory linen stock.

I wrapped it up into a printable DIY card* so that you can give a little something pretty this year as well. Hope you enjoy!

Instructions:

• Download the card and open in Acrobat/Reader
• Print onto a nice 8.5 x 11 card stock – I used a thick ivory linen, which set off the colors nicely and gave it a more handmade feel
• In the print settings, specify ‘none’ for page scaling – this will cut some of the copyright text off the bottom, but keep your card at the correct size
• Cut just inside the border (creates a 5 x 7 card when folded), then score and fold down the middle of the card
