Caribbean-Inspired Birthday Party
We planned, styled and catered a 30th birthday party with a Caribbean and “kid at heart” design inspiration. We found two floral fabrics that worked perfectly with the theme and became the foundation for all the details created for the event – focusing on bright, tropical pops of color against oceany shades of blue.
We designed an invitation around a childhood picture of the birthday boy, and from there, the details of a fun children’s party were added to the mix – pool and yard games, water balloons, and gummy candy. A piece of the multi-colored fabric was made into a curtain to hide extra drinks and equipment under the bar, and scans of the fabrics were turned into custom napkin wraps, festive drink umbrellas, menus and signs placed thoroughout the party.
